The 5D image quality was probably the best value camera in the world. Full frame sensor is a big advantage. Haven't tried out the new one yet though.

actully i do camera reviews and the best is the nikon D3x ... its unmatched but unless you are willing to blow $8k the best full frame camera on an Americans budget is the nikon D300s

its just common fact among camera decompilers that nikon is far ahead of the time when it comes to professional grade cameras ... canon has advertising and a more comfortable camera body ... but still nikon sells far more cameras and spends every penny on research and development canon spreads it out over there computers printers scanners and there small tv line ... i do admit canon has better point and shoot and better personal grade cameras but nikon is far better professional camera line
